Terres d'Histoire: The Historical Show in Bretagne
Let's Relive Breton History
5, 11, 12, 13, 18 & 19 of July 2025
Following the success of the 2022 and 2024 editions, the historical show Terres d'Histoire returns in 2025 to let you rediscover the great moments of Breton history.
Through six new acts, covering six periods of French history, we will tell you the story of Brittany.
Since 2022, Terres d'Histoire has been offering a sound and light show in Brittany, bringing different periods of local and national history to life. Each edition is based on historical narratives, enhanced by mobile sets, pyrotechnic effects, and original music.
In 2025, six acts will retrace key historical events, from the Viking invasions to the era of Versailles, including the arrival of electricity. Lasting 1 hour and 40 minutes, the show will take place outdoors with staging accessible to all. Some performances will also be translated into French Sign Language (LSF). The show will be available in english thanks to a smartphone application.
Starting at 6:30 PM, the medieval village will open its doors with entertainment, historical camps, and a dining area.
On July 12 and 13, a medieval market will complement our program, starting at 11 AM.
(Re)live history differently with Terres d'Histoire !

With its staging, sets, costumes, and pyrotechnic effects, Terres d'Histoire offers a journey through time. This year, the sound and light show retraces key events, from the Viking invasions to the reign of Anne of Brittany, in a setting designed to immerse the audience at the heart of history.

With 70% new scenes, Terres d'Histoire 2025 refreshes its content to surprise both returning audiences and new spectators. The six acts have been redesigned to bring more dynamism and a fresh approach to history, featuring new characters and technical enhancements such as elevated sets and water effects.

Starting at 6:30 PM, the medieval village welcomes visitors with historical camps, combat demonstrations, dances, and comedic performances, creating a friendly experience to share with family. The event also includes accommodations for people with reduced mobility and interpretation in French Sign Language (LSF) to ensure accessibility for all.
