Synopsis of the Terres d'Histoire Show
An Immersive Show at the Heart of History
Each summer, Terres d'Histoire invites the audience to relive key historical events through a unique sound and light show in Brittany. With meticulous staging, pyrotechnic effects by Les Anges de Feu, an original score composed by Sébastien Le Lay, and sets entirely designed and built by our volunteers, this historical production offers a truly immersive experience.
In 2025, the show evolves with 70% new scenes, fresh characters, and cutting-edge technical innovations. Elevated sets, never-before-seen water effects, and enhanced lighting design will further enrich the experience.

A family travels through the centuries
Maxime, the archaeology intern from 2024, returns to the excavation site with his family. There, he reunites with his grandmother, the keeper of memories and stories from the past. But the journey is not without tension—his father and stepmother struggle to get along, rekindling old disagreements. Between discussions about the excavations and historical narratives, each family member finds themselves confronting history… and their own.
An Event to Experience in Total Immersion
The 1h40-long show takes place outdoors, in a natural setting. To extend the experience, the medieval village opens its doors from 6:30 PM, offering historical camps, combat demonstrations, medieval dances, and theatrical farces.
To ensure accessibility for all, some performances will be translated into French Sign Language (LSF), and accommodations are provided for people with reduced mobility.
